  • File structure

    • Professors find that they use eclips over and over. This leads to many clips downloaded for many different lectures year after year. We suggest using the bookmarks* features to highlight the clips you want to remember. However when you’ve decided to download… we suggest creating a specific place to put all the content. You might create a course folder that has the various lectures within it. If you are gathering content for various lectures be sure to put the media (video clip), the transcript** and the “intro slide” in the folder with them. A variation here is to put the “intro slide” in a folder outside the lectures. The advantage here is if you use a person in multiple lectures then you would not have to remember where there intro slide was first used or download multiple times. You would always know that all intro slides are kept together.
    • * This feature was previously called “lightbox”
    • ** The transcript currently does not download as a file. Highlight the transcript (including the file name) and save as a word or text file. See example
